Windows Solution Engineer (M/F)

Our client is a company headquartered in Luxembourg, offering an international working environment and a multicultural team of over 2,000 employees. We are pleased to be recruiting a Windows Solution Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful operational impact within a forward-thinking organisation.
The Windows Solution Engineer will be part of a team of 20 people (working with Windows or Linux), tackling various subjects, including infrastructure design projects. This person will report directly to the head of IT infrastructure.
Position
- Manage, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s Windows environment,
- Deploy and administer servers, systems, and Microsoft solutions such as EMS, SCCM, Intune and MDM,
- Optimise key Microsoft applications and services such as Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint,
- Ensure the security and integrity of Windows systems by applying strong policies and best practices.
- Provide support, resolve incidents, and contribute to ongoing IT infrastructure improvements.
- Create and update technical documentation and internal procedures,
- Participate in strategic IT projects as a subject-matter expert in Windows technologies,
- Work closely with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to strengthen the overall security posture,
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or equivalent),
- at least 5 years of experience as a Solution Engineer,
- Strong expertise in Microsoft environments: Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, O365, EMS, SCCM and Intune,
- Experience with business continuity and the management of critical infrastructures,
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell or similar),
- Excellent communication skills in English (French or German would be an asset),
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive mindset,
- Adaptability, autonomy, and a willingness to learn continuously.
