Our client, a global leader in manufacturing with operations across Luxembourg, Europe, Asia, and the US, is seeking a Product Safety and Compliance Specialist. This role is pivotal in upholding EU and global regulatory standards, ensuring exceptional performance, and prioritizing user safety across all projects.

 

Position

  • Collaborate with the design team to integrate relevant EN standards, including Safety, EMC, and Radio, into the product development process.
  • Identify applicable regulatory standards, interpret their requirements, and ensure they are effectively incorporated into projects.
  • Stay informed about updates to industry and regulatory standards, ensuring our compliance framework remains current and robust.
  • Conduct internal testing for prototypes and early-stage production units, focusing on EMC and radio compliance.
  • Coordinate compliance testing of products—both in-house and third-party—at independent laboratories to meet CE/FCC requirements.
  • Manage test schedules, oversee equipment under test (EUT), and review draft test reports to ensure accuracy and alignment with compliance needs.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for CE compliance, ensuring clarity, precision, and adherence to all regulatory standards.
  • Provide regulatory and certification support to project teams to facilitate successful product launches.
  • Contribute to global product safety initiatives by supporting the development and maintenance of safety protocols and quality standards.

 

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in product safety, compliance, or quality assurance roles.
  • Hands-on experience with EMC/Radio testing and CE/FCC compliance processes.
  • Strong understanding of EN/IEC standards related to laboratory and multimedia equipment (Safety, EMC, SAR, Radio), regulatory compliance, and product safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with global market access requirements is a plus.
  • Experience interpreting technical documentation and standards.
  • Familiar with testing equipment and tools for EMC/Radio evaluation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external labs.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in English; French and German are advantageous.
