Our client is an investment management company, specialised in alternative funds (such as Private Equity, Real Estate and Agri-FoodTech investments). 

We are currently seeking a Conducting Officer Risk Management (M/F) to integrate their headquarters in Luxembourg. This position will report to the Board of Directors of the AIFM.

As a Conducting Officer Risk Management, you will carry out the statutory/regulatory duties and responsibilities of a conducting officer in charge of risk management in an AIFM:

• Coordination and supervision of the regular risk management and investment compliance monitoring checks;
• Ownership of, definition or review of the risk management procedure for all asset classes;
• Selection and implementation of techniques and metrics to measure and monitor identified risks as well as ensuring implementation of risk policies, procedures and processes within the global organisation in accordance with applicable law in particular with the AIFMD;
• Ownership of, definition or review of an operational risk management framework of the AIFM and the funds;
• Ensuring adequate risk reporting to the portfolio management committee, the senior management committee and the Board of Directors of the AIFM;
• Identification and follow up of remedial measures and suggestion of recommendation to identified risk issues;
• Monitor and follow up regulatory reporting relating to risk management;
• Take part and be responsible, together with the other Conducting Officers, of the internal audit;
• Being responsible for the group’s third-party network supporting the risk management function;
• Taking part to the preliminary analysis, risk evaluation, set-up and approval process of new funds;
• Regularly review news Law and Regulations, provide support on their interpretation and implementation.
