Our client is an IT consulting firm offering IT, ERP and CRM solutions and operating in several countries including France and Luxembourg. Active for about 15 years, the company has acquired a strong expertise and continuous development (about 100 people). We are currently looking for an IT Business Developer dedicated to the « Emerging Technologies » department to work directly with the Partners of the firm.
As a Business Developer in the IT sector, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying potential clients in Luxembourg’s IT market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and IT needs (infrastructure, software development, etc.);
- Developing own portfolio by generating leads and converting them to new clients using the internal database;
- Developing relationships with prospective clients to establish long-term collaborations;
- Creating contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients;
- Following up with internal consultants, understanding their technical strengths and personal ambitions;
- Negotiating contract terms with clients and communicating terms to consultants and other stakeholders;
- Become a subject matter expert on business services, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news;
- Network and represent the company at relevant events and conferences.
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- Mandatory professional working proficiency in French & English;
- Established IT network in Luxembourg;
- Proven experience in business development for Luxembourg’s IT sector;
- You are results and objectives oriented and challenge driven;
- You are an excellent communicator and seek to establish contact with others;
- You are resilient and entrepreneurial.
Nice to have:
- BAC + 3 education;
- German & Luxembourgish language skills;
- Prior experience with ERP and CRM solutions.
